St Mellon's CoI Parish Church, Loughbrickland

The earliest St Mellon's parish church on this site was established in 1611 by Sir Marmaduke Whitechurch, who also was the owner of the historic Killevy churches near Meigh. This church was destroyed in the Irish Uprising of 1641. The present building dates mainly from 1688. Image
