Deer near Westley

Image: © Bob Jones Taken: 27 Apr 2014

A herd of nearly 30 deer paused in the middle of this field to watch a group of walkers. So we stopped and watched them. This photograph includes about 20 of the deer. It's unusual to see the deer in such an open location; usually they remain hidden in the nearby wooded areas. The large animal to the right is a stag. Its antlers are just visible.
