Waltham railway station (site), Hertfordshire

Opened in 1840 by the Northern and Eastern Railway on what is today the line from Liverpool Street to Broxbourne, this station closed in 1885 when it was replaced by the current Waltham Cross station, from where this image was taken. No trace of the older station appears to survive. View north towards Cheshunt and Broxbourne.
