I actually bothered to visit this square - no windscreen! View along the road from where the Hamilton and Strathaven Railway crossed by a viaduct when it was extended around 1896. A junction in the background is an entrance to a group of houses hiding away from the big bad world behind a big gate in an embankment in the former line from Larkhall.
