Although the village of Farnborough is merged in with suburbia, just to the south, beyond the Church of St Giles the Abbot, is open country. This is the view along High Street with Church Road on the right. The London LOOP passes down Church Road on the way from Darrick Wood and Tubbenden Meadow to High Elms.
