There was quite a large station here, serving the South Wales line and the line to Hereford. When the latter closed to passengers in 1964, Grange Court station closed with it. When Nigel Thompson visited the site (Image) just over six months previously the goods loop was still in situ, albeit disused: now, the track has been lifted and only the rotting sleepers remain.
