This Grade II listed building off Cote Lane dates from 1755. A datestone on the house reads, "this school was erected and endowed by Lady Dorothy Gray in the year 1755." https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1230631 It is a private house now. Open farmland stretches out southwards. Cattle were grazing today.
