This ROC post, which unaccountably was known as Reepham (a small market town 3.5 kilometres distant) has a unique brick tower unlike any other in Norfolk. It was constructed as late as September 1962 and closed in 1968. The Orlit on top of the tower > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3935946 retains instrument mountings > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3935944 and the two stage ladder leading up it > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3935062. The site has been identified as a site of national importance, and it is to be listed or scheduled.
