Right for Oldtown, and left to Newton of Auchlossan then on towards Kincardine O'Neill (as an unsurfaced track/path). Presumably the left turn follows the Old Military route as Kincardine O'Neill was a well-used crossing point of the River Dee for 'Redcoats' marching north.
