Sculpture 'Mapping' off Northgate Louth

Resulting from a unique collaboration, sculptor Lawrence Edwards and book artist Les Bicknell have produced bronze and steel figures outside the library, St James Church, and Kidgate School. The figures are seen discovering, contemplating and understanding the Meridian Line. The sculptures were commissioned by Louth Town Council, with the support of Commissions East. This particular sculpture by the south-east corner of the library off Northgate is entitled 'Mapping'.
