An open space between Creek Road (left) and Bardsley Road had previously been occupied by mature trees seen in Image but in March 2014 they were felled and replaced by new planting (saplings barely visible in this image). The slogan "Keep the Green" refers to a local protest at a planning application for the site; see also Image which is the next part of the open space to the west in the next grid square.
