Commerce Street

Once a main route into and out of the town centre, Commerce Street is now mostly used by drivers who have inadvertently strayed into the pedestrian zone and had to take the only available escape route. It does still have one or two interesting shops, but the rate of attrition does not bode well for its future as a shopping street.
