This venue started life as a large country house, built in the early 1900s. During World War II it was used as a military hospital. It was bought in the late 1950s and turned into a hotel. It was during the 1960s that it acquired the name White Buck, and now, owned by the Fullers Brewing Company, it is a popular Pub, Restaurant and Hotel.
