Porter Brook, a.k.a. the River Porter appearing from beneath Oakbrook Road, Nether Green. The Porter descends from its source on Burbage moor in the Peak District National Park. It flows eastward through Porter Clough and the Mayfield Valley. Then, having passed through Forge Dam it makes its way through Endcliffe Park and heads towards Hunter's Bar. It eventually meets the subterranean section of the River Sheaf beneath Sheffield Midland Station.
