A Grade II* listed building (the ivy-covered building towards the left). From a lawsuit of 1580, the Crown versus Tempest, the ownership of Aldersley can be traced to Tristam Bolling in 1422, but it was encased in coursed gritstone and extended in the latter part of the C17. This is a view northwards across the bottom of Bell Dean.
