Opened in 1869 by the Caledonian Railway on the line from Glasgow to Edinburgh via Shotts. View north east towards Fauldhouse and Edinburgh, during the building of a new entrance ramp, and some 6 years before the line was electrified. See Image for a similar view in 2019.
