No.96 Westbourne Avenue, house, 1877-79, with mid- and late 20th century additions and alterations. Together with adjoining No.98, International House, a student residence established by the Methodist Church in 1961. http://www.hullih.org.uk/about.html By George Gilbert Scott junior for his cousin John Spyvee Cooper, a solicitor of Kingston upon Hull. This building is part of a group of eight houses by Scott, who was an early exponent of the Queen Anne style.
