Built in 1822-26 for William Greaves, who produced cutlery, steel and tools, and taken over in 1839 by Thomas Turton, who also made springs! The unusually grand office block survives, "resembling a country house built of ashlar and coursed stone". Grade II listed. Now offices (Sheaf Quay).
