The Hawker Hunter was one of the most popular military aircraft of the post-war period many of which were made at Kingston upon Thames, which is close to Woking. This is a two-seater training model, type T7. The Hunter filled many roles, fighter, fighter/bomber, trainer and one even being fitted with an RB.199 turbo-fan as a test-bed for the Panavia Tornado.
