The church of St Nicholas was abandoned during the Middle Ages. No trace remains of it and the site where it once stood now forms part of a private garden > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3901105. The location is marked by a cross put up in Victorian times. The parish was combined in modern times with that of All Saints.
