These were built on the site of part of Kaye's Mill, which was shown as disused on the 1929 1:2500 map. I doubt that they were built as late as that, so perhaps the Ordnance Survey missed the change. The 1960 1:2500 map shows the central house wider than the others, so would be three windows wide with a central doorway. The modern maps shows a terrace of six houses.
