Viewed across Rother Street. Part of Stratford Town Trust, Civic Hall provides an air conditioned space that can be hired for a variety of purposes by charitable and educational organisations, commercial businesses and individuals. Built in 1830 as a pair of houses, the building has had a variety of previous uses. In 1852, it housed the first Catholic chapel in Stratford since the Reformation. In 1876 it was converted for use as a nursing home and children's hospital.
