An attractive little group, dated 1791, originally houses and offices facing the street and workshops behind arranged around courtyards. Possibly associated with silversmithery. Subject to C19th alterations. Grade II listed. The nearest, formerly Venture Works, bears the name Herbert M. Slater Ltd, extant (but relocated) and described on their website as manufacturers of "knives, scrapers, forks, saws and scissors." Now offices of the Alzheimer's Society.
