This site has now rebranded as a fairground heritage centre and disposed of most of its stationary steam engines. I haven't been recently and would welcome any information on whether this survives. This a G Waller, of Stroud inverted vertical single cylinder from a gasworks and is typical of the many engines that drove exhausters and other plant in the carbonisation gas works of the 19th and 20th centuries. It can be seen to be running in this shot. As of 2025 the site has closed and disposed of the entire collection. This particular engine was auctioned off some years ago and is now privately owned in the West Midlands near Redditch and had not been erected when last seen.
