At the junction with Hawthorn Avenue, the Dairycoates Inn, No.580 Hessle Road, good traditional example of a public house, built 1874. Nice tiling and architectural ceramic ornamentation dating from c.1890, including a splendid Hull Brewery Co. tiled anchor trademark.
