This sculpture by Janet Fitzsimons takes the form of a 3½ metre solid polished concrete pyramid resting on four spheres and a square plinth rising from an octagonal base of two steps. It carries the date 1992. It was designed and installed at St John’s Square as part of a facelift to the area behind St John’s Cathedral, a project that included the creation of public gardens and a paved square.
