Located beside Haggerston Road on Stonebridge Common by the junction with Mayfield Road. Stonebridge common was given to the public by Hackney Board of Works in 1883. The obelisk in the foreground may be the war memorial mentioned on the OS map but any inscriptions that existed have long since worn away.
