St Michael and All Angels, Sandhurst

The church of St Michael and All Angels at Sandhurst dates from the 13th century but was largely rebuilt in 1853. Prior to 1812 when land adjacent to the village of Sandhurst was purchased for the construction of the Royal Military Academy. The arrival of the railway in 1849 brought a new prosperity to the area prompting the renovation of the church.
