Proudly proclaiming that it is CAMRA Town Pub of the season (Winter 2014). Probably C15 with extensions of early C18 and C19; raised later in C19 and restored early 1934. Timber-frame, ground floor at front of herringbone brick on stone plinth, upper storeys rendered and whitewashed. Grade II listed.
