The Spar nameboard and Post Office sign have gone from this small building on the north side of High Street, viewed in early March 2014. After the closure of the post office in September 2013, the Wiltshire Times reported this quote from a Post Office spokesman: "The Post Office is committed to providing a service to residents in Dilton Marsh. Options include finding a new operator and relocating the service, or the introduction of a hosted service, to operate from a community building or business, on set days." A plasterer's name board rests on the skip, so it looks like the premises are being prepared for a new use.
