The colourful mural is on a wall of this http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3879620 underpass. The recipe is to take 2 tablespoonfuls of Welsh, 1 cup of Pont for bridge, 2 ounces of Tawe for river. Mix together equals Pontartawe. Change your T for a D equals PONTARDAWE. (The change of letter is a Welsh mutation to maintain harmony of sounds).
