There are two tunnels immediately east of Whinhill station on the Wemyss Bay line, this is the west portal of the southernmost tunnel which has been disused since the mid 1960s. The houses are on Kilmacolm Road. There is another pair of disused tunnels around 150 metres to the north on the former Princes Pier line.
