Arrewig Lane is a narrow, poorly maintained lane between Chartridge and St Leonards with several farms along it. It is presently terribly rutted with huge pot-holes, broken surface tarmac and thick mud in places. The stretch seen here is about the best condition piece - nearer Old Brun's Farm it is quite horrific! Arrewig is an old name for an Earwig.
