The Guildhall, Lowgate and Alfred Gelder Street, 1906-1914, by Sir Edwin Cooper of Russell, Cooper & Davis. The principal entrance to the former Law Courts has a giant recessed arch on Composite columns with the seated figure of 'Justice' on the projecting prow of a boat over the doorway; the carving is by Albert H.
