Parish Wood Park is called after Parish Wood which forms the north-eastern part of it. Parish Wood was just over the old London County Council boundary into Kent. It is now just over the boundary into the London Borough of Bexley from the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The flats in the distance are in Restons Crescent which is in Greenwich. The blossom was fully out after a very mild winter, although the wettest on record. This is the entrance from Berwick Crescent and the path is on the Shuttle Riverway.
