Houses above Penglais Road, with Elysian Grove leading into Cae Melyn. At the top of the photo is Bryn Aberoedd, an "international modern" house by the architect Ifan Prys Edwards built in 1968 and described in the Pevsner Architectural Guide "The buildings of Wales: Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion" as being "of spare elegance in glass, brick and white aluminium".
