The Engineers Arms, No.60 Bridlington Avenue (actually located at the now truncated northern end of Gibson Street) was established mid-19th century and enlarged by the Hull Brewery Co. in 1925. The public house is now closed and has been advertised for sale. The City Council approved a planning application 11 February 2014 for conversion to four flats.
