Viewed across The Homend in May 2013. Scaffolding hides some of the detail of the building, which is the premises of a NatWest bank branch and also of Orme & Slade Solicitors (in NatWest Bank Chambers). A small tablet on the wall shows NPB EST(ablished) 1833. This was the year of the creation of the National Provincial Bank. A branch of the bank opened in 1835 in Ledbury as one of their first offices outside London. With the branch a great success, bigger premises were needed, and so it moved to an 18th century building named Homend House, the building seen here.
