See http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-54752-parish-church-of-st-lawrence-bythorn-and- for its entry in British Listed Buildings. The church has parts dating from the C13-C16. The spire was taken down and capped around 1960 presumably because it was unsafe.
