A train consisting of a single class 153 railcar waits to depart from Tutbury and Hatton Station towards Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe. The staggered layout of the station platforms is not original, but ensures that the level crossing is closed to road traffic for the minimum amount of time. This view also shows the east face of the historic signal box.
