Built by South Staffs Water Company in 1934, and providing a good head of water to north Cannock. The rumoured OS Rivet (rather like a benchmark) on the concrete step of the tower proved rather elusive, partly because it's pretty well defended by pointy fences, and partly because Daft Dog started raising a rumpus when I tied him to a tree, and then went out of sight round the back of the tower.
