Boscombe: beach huts and goats

In April 2009 goats were introduced onto the cliff face between Boscombe pier and Manor Zig-Zag by Bournemouth Borough Council, as a cost-effective way of controlling the vegetation. Here, we see two of the six goats munching away behind four of the Undercliff Drive beach huts. The left-hand one has clearly been displaced, being numbered 401 but standing between 502 and 504.
