A double-aperture, Elizabeth II-reign postbox on the corner of Exhibition Road. This is the northeast corner of the Science Museum, which contained a post office from 25 September 1995 (replacing the Kensington branch office) until closure on 3 August 2004. This perhaps explains not only the exact location of the box but also the allocation of parking spaces marked 'PO'.
