Viewed from near the entrance from Bridge Street. The long, narrow car park is behind shops on the eastern side of High Street. Its shape suggested a former railway site, a conjecture confirmed by a 1940s map, which shows a railway here, to the south of Blackwood railway station (now long since demolished).
