View southward on the Down platforms, towards London King's Cross. The station ('& South Mims' 1923-71) was completely rebuilt at the time of the quadrupling of the line through from New Barnet and Hadley Wood in 1959: it was further altered during the electrification of the King's Cross - Hitchin section of the ex-GNR East Coast Main Line in 1976.
