After a morning of heavy rain a bright sun emerged in the late afternoon bringing blue skies Image, but snow-laden clouds rolled in. The view is from the Trans Pennine Trail on the former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway line approaching the Dowson Road bridge. Shortly after the whole scene was covered by snow.
