This Wetherspoons pub opened in 2007. The building was originally built in 1933 as a car showroom operated by the Fairman family. One member of the family, Jack Fairman, was also a Formula One racing driver, taking part in 12 races, with the highlight being a fourth place in the 1956 British Grand Prix. It is after him that this pub is named. See Image for a frontal photo.
