Taken in May 1999, this photo shows a Leyland National bus 221 (KPA 372P) in Station Approach HP16 9AZ on route 346 to High Wycombe via Little Kingshill and Cryers Hill. This vehicle is a 49-seater dating from 1975 and is in the light and dark green livery of the former Aldershot & District Traction Co Ltd. That company merged with Thames Valley Traction Co Ltd to form Alder Valley on the 1st January 1972. This particular vehicle has since been privately preserved still being in that livery. However, route 346 has long since been withdrawn.
