This fine pair of Georgian houses were the rectories for the two inner Nottingham parishes of St Mary's and St Peters. With the amalgamation of these two parishes together with All Saints the properties are superfluous to requirements. They probably also represented a significant charge on the parish. It is not surprising then, that they are now for sale.
