Originally one of a series of lodges along Derby Road attached to the several large houses in Lenton Park. Dating from around 1860. Listed Grade II. There is a bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3843896 on the return wall of the projecting bay on this façade, just to the right of the traffic light.
